Good morning / afternoon / evening! My name is Liu zi yuan. The title of my speech is the relationship between creativity and imagination.

There is no creativity without imagination. With the development of the society, creativity becomes more and more important. People could not satisfy with ordinary life. So we need creativity to meet their requirements. We can see significance of the creativity from an example. The smart phone—iphone spread all over the world. That was the creativity of The Apple Inc. It is obvious that it will produce a bigger profit than common manufacturing. But, hao can we acquire creativity?

没有想象力就没有创造力。随着社会的发展，创造力变得越来越重要。人们已经不能满足于日常生活。所以我们需要不断的创新来满足他们的需求。通过一个例子我们可以知道创造力的意义。苹果智能手机的使用遍及全世界。这就是苹果公司的创新。很显然，这项创新产生了巨大的利润比起普通的制造业。但是我们怎样才能获得创造力？

I think the creativity roots in imagination. Albert Einstein said that imagination is important than knowledge. Because we should creative a thing that is never appeared, we need to image. Use all the things and information around us to think and then go to achieve it. Without the imagination of the Wright brothers ， human could not complete the flying dreams. Without the imagination of the Alexander Graham Bell, we could not hear the voice from a distance. If the creativity can make the human progress, imagination will be the road to success. Where the imagination come from? Knowledge ？ Experience ？ practice? I consider that all of them are indispensable. It is often said that knowledge is power. So we should empower ourselves with knowledge. After that we need to obtain experience form. practice. These are the basis, and we must strengthen them to extend our imagination.

As contemporary college students, we must shoulder the responsibility of the future of our motherland. What we need is not only the knowledge of the past, but also is the innovation of a new field. Our thought can not be bound by the old things. We should understand that an excellent nation is always full of creativity. So we must promote our imagination. it is known to all that in the past 40 years,china has captured the opportunity provided by globalization and grown rapidly from nobody to the second-largest economy in the world.in this context,it could be said that we young people have had better resources than ever be more specific,let's pick up some daily life's fragments: for example,one sunday morning,you don't feel like going outside,so you pull out your smartphone and quickly order a takeout on app to comfort your empty stomach.in another case ，there's been a discount on taobao 。after struggling with your equipment and the net speed,you finally got your favorite goods at the best prize,because the most complete supply chain and logistic chain worldwide will solve the remaining work for you,so all you have to do is waiting. not to mention the increasing number of people going abroad,with a chinese passport,they are entitled to travel around the world and come back home safely.

but now i wonder how many of you have realized that this convenience,this sense of security does't come out of air,surely we could regard it as the product of reform and opening-up policies,nevertheless,do you really understand what are behind those achievements?there is a saying, if you live at ease ， that is because there are a great many people who are working for you in silence.they might be the politicians and entrepreneurs who climb into the raging flow to explore and promote the system construction of market economy,they might be the intellectuals who devote their lives to prompting the engine of development,and they might be every single person we have access to.

in other words,we youth do not take it for granted,the more resources we possess means the more responsibility we will shoulder.when the 95s were claimed to be the new youth in china and the first millennial stepped into campus,baton of the era has also been approaching.although china is moving firmly towards its goal of rejuvenation ，deficiencies and problems still exist.so in this sense,we youth ought to grow stronger to sustain the potentiality of development.with the baton in hands,do not afraid to embrace the mercurial society ，do not afraid to change the future.so that as the new youth we could feel more emboldened to say that facing the reform and opening-up policies we are not only the gainers but also the successors!thank you!

Beggars Today

Beggars are one of the most familiar groups in every city. They accompany us from our childhood until now, and Ive found both the beggars and I change in this journey.

Years ago as a little girl, when I came across some old and disabled beggars on the road, Id donate some pocket money to them, happily thinking I was helping.

s I have grown older, Ive found the number of beggars has grown larger and they are more diverse. They appear in every corner of the city, on the overbridge, on the street, near restaurants, and even at your door. In contrast with the old days, it seems like the situation with beggars today is more complicated, which has made me hesitate before deciding whether to help them or not.

Its hard for me to give them money considering some who appear beggars in day time but dress up and go to fancy restaurants at night; and some who are controlled by some illegal organization and the money they get all goes to the organization. If I help them, Id be making the problem worse, Id be doing harm to the society, indirectly. But its also hard not to give them money, considering therere real beggars who really need help. If I dont help them, who will? And where is my sympathy?

What hurts me the most is not how hard it is to distinguish the real help-seekers from the many false ones, but that some children are forced by adults, sometimes even their parents, to beg. They grow up despised by the world, out of mainstream society. When I see their eyes filled with desperation and impudence instead of purity and innocence, my heart sinks. We dont know how they will face the world when they grow up, how this will shape their characters, and what they may do to the society, to perpetuate this cycle of violence.

Months ago the Fu Jian government has promulgated a new policy to deal with 8 kinds of beggars. An internet survey shows that over 80% of voters reacted positively toward the policy. We know that→www.shubaoc.com← one single policy cannot solve a problem as complex as this one, but we do look forward to some improvement. I wish all humanity can live like human.
