It is hoped that this thesis will make a pioneering attempt to investigate the translation of ci poems from the semiotic perspective.

Secondly, I want to talk about the structure and main contents of this paper.

Witfi an aim to make a systematic investigation of ci poems translation from a semiotic perspective, this thesis is composed of six chapters.

Chapter 1 is the introduction. It tries to introduce ci poems and translation, the purpose,significance and the research methodology of the thesis from a general view.

Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 lay the theoretical foundation of the thesis. Chapter 2 attempts to present a critical overview of quasi-semiotic and semiotic approaches to translation in China and abroad. It also examines the semiotic difference of literary language, which points to the semiotic characteristics of literary tr出islation.

Chapter 3 introduces briefly the motivation theory, inclusive of the theory of aesthetics and the aesthetic motivation behind the literary language, especially poetry. It examines the possible approaches to actualize aesthetic motivations in poems.

Chapter 4 explores the semiotic perspectives to maintain the aesthetic motivation at three different levels,namely phonological, syntactic and semantic behind linguistic choices in literary language, and all are discussed in the pragmatic context. Respectively, phonological motivation includes rhyme,rhythm, onomatopoeia, reduplication, shuangsheng and motivation consists of information-focus, theme-rheme structure, syntactic repetition,series and indeterminancy. Semantic motivation includes four parts: metaphoricity,nonreferentiality, intentionality and intertextuality.

Chapter 5 is the examination and evaluation of Xu Yuanchong's translated versions of cipoems of Tang and Song Dynasty from the above three levels.

Many scholars and critics have devoted themselves to the research on Angela Carter from many perspectives,including gothic, magic realism, feminism,post-modernism and so on. 毕业论文是大学生在校期间向学校所交的最后一份书面作业。英语专业学生在修完一般英语写作课程后,初步熟知和掌握了基本的写作要素和技巧,这时为了深化写作内容,进一步提高文字表达能力,必须开始进行学术论文写作。毕业论文写作在巩固了词的各种意义、搭配、用法、词序,句子的定义、结构、种类、用法,即写作的基本要素和技巧的同时,还能培养初步的研究、分析和总结问题的能力。这就为学生在日后进一步从事相关学科的研究工作打下了坚实的基础。

再次,在导师的指导下正确撰写提纲。在对资料进行整理分析的基础上,逐步形成自己的观点,然后根据逻辑关系对这些论点、论据,素材进行整理,构思论文的框架,明确论文的层次,拟定论文提纲。

三、在导师的指导下制定撰写毕业论文的具体方案,比如开题报告。

毕业论文开题报告是指学生就所拟毕业论文论题撰写的关于该论题的研究方案。毕业论文开题报告应在对国内外相关论题的资料收集、比较、分析基础上,明确本论文所研究的问题及其所具有的学术意义和预期目标,意在使论文指导教师和其他论题审核人相信该论题具有学术研究意义或价值,同时,也相信学生有能力实现预期研究目标。

一个新概念或新理论的产生和出现都是有其历史传承的,有其历史的脉络可循。我们撰写论文离不开前人已做的研究或相关论述,他们的研究发现是我们进一步阐述的基础,因此有必要进行文献引用。引用与抄袭同样都是一种写作手段,但其性质却迥然不同。前者属于著作权法规定的合理使用,后者则属于违法侵权行为。只要文章中出现一处文献引用,在文后参考文献(Bibliography)部分务必按格式列出该文献的完整信息。目前英语界还是沿用美国“现代语言协会”(MLA)的原文引用格式。

摘 要:随着高等院校的教育发展,素质教育已经提上了日程,在美式教育的启发下,面对目前我国的素质教育,和对就业方面的人才的需要,适时地改变我国的教育现状,提升学生的英语专业能力,语言表达的能力,以及应对和创新能力,已经是一个很重要的问题了。本文就针对在美式教育的启发下,现阶段素质教育及就业需求,在教学内容、教学模式和教学手段上进行改革,结合本学科独特的知识体系和教学特点,将英语语言教学与人文教学相结合,从以教师为主体的传统教学模式向以教师为主导、以学生为主体的互动教学模式转变。

1 、高校英语专业教育的现状与问题

我国第三次全国教育工作会议后,提出了教育改革的方针,推进素质教育的理念。如何贯彻实施素质教育则成为现代高等院校的主要问题,我们从高校英语专业的教育现状来分析。

一方面,现代社会的不断发展,要求有更多有能力、有素质的人才;第二方面,现代的教育体系,大部分依然是以往的传统教学模式,对学生进行知识的灌输。使得培养出来的大学生与实际中需要的人才,格格不入。为了解决这一个对立的矛盾,就要从其根源上来找,传统的英语教学,主要是培养学生的应试考试能力,很少注重对他们的听、说以及与其它学科之间的联系。这样就会使得学生的知识面太窄,不能获取更多的知识视野。学生毕业后,可能会面临很大的就业压力。出现与生活的脱节现象,所以针对这种情况,高等院校必须进行改革,提升学生的个人综合素质[1]。

2 、基于美式教育下,英语专业素质教育的改革方向

在美式教育启发下,我们要在高等院校实施素质教育,首先就要改变教育观念,作为英语教师,必须适应当前社会的发展,结合学生毕业要面临的就业问题,对现代的本科英语教学的模式进行分析,重新定位教学目标和内容,按照素质教育要求的目标,对学生进行教育。重点培养学生的英语语言的表达能力,对外国等国家的风俗文化有所了解,锻炼自己各方面的才能,成为一个具有多种技能的复合型人才。而在这许多的内容中,培养学生的专业素质是最主要的方面。

学生的英语专业素质应该在教师传授知识的时候,进行培养,多加强对学生的自主学习能力和思维方面的训练,解决学生的分析问题的能力,和实践操作技能方面的能力,增强学生的学习自信心和学习兴趣。

在教学课堂中,只要把学生作为课堂生活中的人,才能发现学生具有的潜质,我们要懂得去爱护、相信学生,不断去鼓励、感悟、激起学生,让他们去自主探究、合作、讨论,这样的课堂学习,让师与生的心、灵都共享学习的快乐,这样的学习才是真正的学习,而学生就能够主动、参与、活动[2]。

(1)师生共建教学^v^民主^v^的氛围

对于^v^对话^v^,在两者之间没有贵、贱、高、下、大、小所区分,以前的老师总是带有架子、带有命令的语气,这样往往会降低学生的学习的尽头,使^v^对话^v^中止。因此,^v^对话^v^所需具备的必要条件为^v^民主、平等^v^。

对于学生学习的过程,即发现、提出、解决问题的过程,而问题,往往通过学生自己找出,也鼓励学生自己去解决。让学生通过尝试的`方式去解决,使得问题得到答案,如果存在一时解决不了的,我认为也是合理的,对于教师,避免急于求成,即代替学生去解决,正确的做法是积极疏、引、拔,通过各种方法来开导、鼓励学生,让他们去分析、解决存在的疑问。初始,孩子们可能会认为不知道问啥问题,也找不出什么问题,或说不出问题更不符合主题要求,缺乏实用性,这时,教师要多进行演示,同时也去启发学生的思维的定格高校英语课程的教学不仅是语言知识的输入,更重要的是学生语言能力、表达能力、交往能力的提高和辩证性思维的培养,使学生最终成为独立的学习者。不断加强对大学生的社会适应能力、沟通能力和创新方面的培养,为以后可能会从事的职业做基础。

3 、素质教育对高校英语教师的新要求

在美式教育启发下,要想实现素质教育,最根本的还要加强对教师的个人素质的提升。因此,在具体的操作中,培养高质量的师资队伍要提高三方面的能力和水平:

(1)育人方面的能力。

高校教师要不断进行对学生的培养,树立自己高尚的人格,作为学生的表率,在道德修养方面潜在的引导学生,达到一个较好地目的。

(2)学习能力。教育人员和学生之间本来应该是一个统一体,没有什么界限的,作为一名老师,也要进行不断的学习,扩展自己的知识面,只有这样,才能适应现代社会的发展。作为英语专业的老师,就必须及时地对自己的知识方面的能力进行提高。适应当前改革的需要和社会的发展。

(3)创新能力。

要不断培养学生的创新能力,只有创新,才能为将来的社会发展做出自己的贡献。对于学生的创新精神的培养,教师要在课堂上实施启发的思维,引导学生的思维能力朝着既定的目标前进。

综上,素质教育的实现,必须要教师具有专业的素养,同时也要有广博的知识能力,逐渐跟上时代的脚步,发掘学生的潜力。

4 、转变教学模式,实施互动式教学

在美国,他们在英语专业的教育方面,都是进行相对较好的教学模式上比较成功,因此,要想比较成功的进行素质教育,教师就要从教学模式上上功夫。在具体的高校英语专业教学实践中,互动教学模式主要可以通过如下教学手段来实现:

(一)从教学内容上,教师应该改变以往的讲授为主的教学方式,改为利用先进的多媒体进行辅助教学,比如说,对于一些听力材料,可以利用播放多媒体视频的方式,让学生在图文并茂的中,学会知识[3]。

(二)尽可能多地用英语授课,与学生进行互动交流。

(三)合理设计课堂问题,引发学生思考。

设计问题的重点要放在问题方面,大家都知道,教师作为课堂的引路人,有着很大的作用,因此,在设计问题的时候,一定要考虑全面,这样,巧妙的问题能够帮助学生更加好的应对知识,提升自己的知识能力。在设计问题的形式时,可以采取提问的方式、也可以采取分组交流的方式,还可以转变成一节辩论会的形式,总之,不管是哪种模式,目标都是一样的。

(四)开展英语第二课堂活动。

学生在课上学到的英语专业知识毕竟是有限的。所以,教师还可以在课余的时间,组织学生成立一个英语社团,在这里,爱好的英语的学生可以参加在社团内部的活动,比如,英语广播,英语演讲比赛等,聘请资深的外国专家,来我国进行他们当地的一些趣事的报告,增加学生的知识面。

总之,通过上面的分析,学生是课堂的主人,教师是引导者,在整个学习的过程中,教师要时刻保持引导者的身份,对于学生进行整体的关注,引导学生逐步完成教学任务和计划。在相互的交流讨论中,不断完善教学的各个目标。培养学生的道德、思维能力的发展。增强文化背景知识,掌握地道的英语,为日后进行实际英语语言交流打下坚实的基础。

5、 结论

综上所述,基于美式教育的启发之下,现代社会提出的素质教育,我国的教育机构已经开始对此进行了加强,面对现代社会的就业压力,我们对学生的培养也在不断的扩大,逐渐导入迎合就业的方向上发展。大学生应该具有多方面的优秀才能,比如说,个人综合能力、修养、表达能力,思维能力等,都是一个合格的人才,这样,才能在未来的社会中,立于不败之地。面对残酷的就业考试,才能脱颖而出。

“需求分析”这个词最初是在20年代由迈克尔?西对孟加拉国内英语的需求状况进行调查时提出来的。比较着名的需求分析模型包括Mubay提出的目标情景分析模型及Allright的目前情景分析模型。前者重点强调了学习者在语言使用方面的相关变量,如话题、参与者、使用的媒介等,而对于其他方面的需求没有进行细致的讨论;后者在此基础上做了补充,更加注重学习者自身语言能力与期待目标之间的差异,但却忽略了学习主体自身的重要作用。能够强调语言运用和学习者学习过程的模式是由Hutchin-son和Waters提出的。Hutchinson和Waters提出了以学习者为中心的需求分析模式。他们将需求分析分为两个方面即目标需求分析和学习需求分析。目标需求分析提出了六个问题,涵盖了学习者学习语言的原因、用途、使用方式、使用主体、使用时间及使用场所。这两种需求分析的差别在于目标需求分析关注了语言运用的细节,讨论了学习者在目标情景中要做什么;学习需求分析关注的是语言学习的过程,分析学习者应该学什么、怎么学。Dudley-Evans和St.John的需求分析模式由九个方面构成:学习者的职业信息、学习者的个人信息、学习者的语言信息、目标情景中的语言信息、学习者缺乏的能力、学习语言的需求、学习者的职业信息、学习者的课程需求、学习环境信息。Dudley-Evans和St.John需求分析模式为ESP的课程设置提供了一个分析框架,它不仅包括了学习者的客观需求和主观需求,而且清晰地反映出各种需求之间的联系。该模式既能从语言本体、学生个体和学习过程的角度进行分析,又涵盖了目标情景分析、学习情景分析和目前情景分析三个维度,是较为全面的一种需求分析模式。就笔者而言,商务英语需求分析应该结合以上分析模型,形成集目前情景分析、目标情景分析及学习情景分析与一体的独特模式,才能有效反应学习者目前真实的学习情景和未来的工作的目标情景需求,真实体现学习情景中的客观实际与需求之间的差异,并在此基础上分析并改善现有的教学方法、教学模式,推动教材改革,使课程体系、课程设置趋于合理。

二、商务英语课程的需求分析维度

对商务英语专业方向进行三个方面的需求分析是必不可少的:即目前情景分析、目标情景分析及学习情景分析。目前情景分析是从学习者自身的学习需求入手,涵盖其个人信息(包括个人基本情况、学习目的、未来期待)、学习者的语言水平(包括英语水平、商务知识掌握的水平、语言基本技能)、学习能力(包括学习方法技巧、跨文化跨学科的理解能力、学习策略的掌握)。目标情景分析指社会的需求和实际就业的差距(包括社会提供的职位、岗位需要的技能和所需的知识和交际能力)。笔者相信明确了社会的需要才能培养出适应社会经济发展的人才,了解所学与社会所需之间的差距,才能更好地弥补学校教育缺陷。学习情景分析是指商务英语专业毕业生及在校生的自我需求调查包括学习驱动力、课程的评价及对教师的评价。
