On the other hand, most students think that these activities are a complete waste of time. If they can use the time in learning their subjects instead of playing football, theyll make great progrein their lessons. I personally think that sports activities should be supported. However, we can reduce the time of these activities so that they will not affect our lessons. As our school life is busy and a little boring， after-school activities can give us amusement and help us to relax ourselves， among which playing basketball is my favorite. I started to play basketball since I was
12 when I accidentally switched to Channel 5 which was putting on an awesome NBA game. Attracted by sports stars’ playing skills， I decided to play basketball. Though I don’t have so much talent like them， I have passion and courage. When running with my friends， when sweating in the sun， when throwing the ball， I am filled with heartfelt happiness. Not only does basketball give me a lot of happiness， but also it brings me changes. After learning and practicing， I can play the violin， piano as well as guitar out of my love for music. Enjoying my own music always helps me release my pressure and regulate mood. The amusement which I like best is watching movies. There are many kinds of movies----horror movies， action movies， edies， to name just a few. Not only do the variety of movies bring me a lot of fun， but also they teach me a lot. I learned teachers should treat students with love and patience from The Chorus. I also saw the true love between humans and animals in the film Hachiko A Dogs Story. Movies show tastes of life and creative ideas to us. There’s no doubt that we can both relax ourselves and know the true meaning of life by watching movies. Watching movies has many advantages， which is why it’s my favourite amusement.
