I still remember a childhood experience. Once, we went to play with a few childhood friends. When we accidentally walked to an unknown hill, we were driven to the mountain by unknown curiosity. Entering the mountain, I thought it was a man-made hill, but as we got further and further away from the entrance of the mountain, I found that we had lost our way. When we tried to return, we found that the direction was wrong. After many attempts, we still didn‘t find the way to come. At this time, my heart began to worry: “if we don’t find a way out before dark, we will surely be trapped here.” At this time, two little girls beside me started to sob because of fear. Their crying made me disordered. I was eager to help them put a small stone on the road we had come. After many setbacks, we finally came out of the “devil mountain”。 Now, I understand that these so-called difficulties are simply a paper tiger. When we hit it with our wit, it will lie down.
I don‘t think challenging ourselves is a “problem”, but a one variable quadratic equation that can be easily “taken down” by us.
After that lost revelation, I found that to challenge myself is to defeat what I fear to do through my own efforts, so as to overcome the “terrible” setbacks, and then I can successfully reach the other side of success.
Another time, I remember it was my brother’s birthday. My aunt took my brother and me to the park. I think that if every failure is summed up as an attempt, not inferiority, and every success is imagined as a kind of luck, not to be proud; so, smile, play a leisurely string, to face setbacks, to accept happiness; to taste loneliness; to bathe in sadness.
