China has many traditional festivals among the year。 But I like Mid-Autumn Festival the most。 It means harvest， because it is celebrated in the harvest season。 And it is the time for famers to express their thanks for harvest。 In addtion， it’s the day for reunion。 Some people call it Tuanyuanjie。 The people work or study far away from home will e back to get-together with their families。 They will eat a big meal and mooncake at that time。 I hate parting but love reunion。 So Mid-Autumn Day is my favorite festival。
一年之中中国有很多传统节日。我最喜欢的是中秋节。那意味着收获，因为它是在收获的季节里面庆祝的。那也是让农民们感激收获的时候。 此外，它也是团圆的日子。有人把它称为团圆节。在远方工作或学习的人都会回来与家人团聚。他们会在那个时候一齐吃一顿丰盛的晚餐和月饼。我厌恶离别，喜欢团圆。所以我最喜欢的节日是中秋节。

My favorite festival
Chinese people have been celebrating the Mid-Autumn festival and enjoying mooncakes for centuries. My favorite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. We usually enjoy the moon on the night of that day. And we also eat fruits, peanuts and mooncakes. I like it because all my family members can sit together to have dinner and talk with each other. On the night ，the moon is so beautiful that it makes me think of Change. It can make me feel the warmth of family.
Changes in my hometown
My hometown has changed a lot in the last few years. In the past, there used to be old small houses in my hometown. The river in front of the village was very dirty, and smelt terrible. The children had to go to school on foot or by bike. But now there are many new tall buildings instead of the small houses. It looks clean everywhere in my hometown. The river is clear enough for children to swim in. Most children go to school by bus, and some parents take their children to school in a car.
My hometown is getting better than it used to be.

Thats because we get presents and treats,including red envelopes filled with money.We also get to set off fireworks.But we never forget that this holiday is a time to give thanks.We feel grateful for our family and the things that we have.

My best festival is Spring Festival. It is in Janurary or February. It is the most important festival for the Chinese people. On that day everybody dresses up. First they extend greetings to their parents. Then each child will get money as a New Year gift, wrapped up in red paper.
People in northern China will eat jiaozi, or dumplings, for breakfast, the shape of the dumpling is like gold ingot from ancient China. So people eat them and wish for money and treasure.Burning fireworks was once the most typical custom on the Spring Festival. I like spring festival very much. Its my favourite holiday.
