Today is the children＇s day of June 1st， and I got up early and came to school happily. the campus has taken on a new look， and the newly built stage is full of colorful balloons， which is very beautiful！ Today＇s activities are colorful， including dancing， chorus， guzheng， skits and so on.
In the afternoon， the school held a charity sale activity. You can choose what you like to buy， that is， you can buy what you like， and you can do a Xiao Xiao＇s heart for those in need. When the teacher said that the charity sale started， we rushed to the playground like galloping horses on the prairie. At this moment， the big playground is crowded and very lively. Before I came to a ＂ shop＂， there were all kinds of books， toys and articles for daily use. I looked east and west， and I was dazzled. I didn＇t know what to choose. Later， I finally selected two favorite books， one about all kinds of cars and the other about cpaing turn. I am so happy to buy what I like.

State banking giant Peoplelsquo;s Bank has entered into partnership with the popular and informative childrenrsquo;s magazine Funday Times， issued with The Sunday Times， to conduct an all-island essay competition that will coincide with International Childrenlsquo;s Day 20xx.
The competition was announced in June 20xx， and was open to all children island-wide. At present finalists have been selected from the 25 districts. The second round is scheduled to be held on August 9 at designated centres around the country.
There will be four categories in which children can participate： these include Grades 2 and 3， Grades 4 and 5， Grades 6 and 7， and Grades 8 and 9. Each category will have a different topic to write on， and the essays can be written in Sinhala， Tamil or English.
As a responsible corporate citizen， Peoplersquo;s Bank has for more than 47 years carried out various programmes aimed at nurturing the talents of future generations. Through its lsquo;Isuru Udanarsquo; and lsquo;Sisu Udanarsquo; products， designed especially with the welfare of children in mind， the Bank has paved the way for all children to learn the value of savings.
